Description: 
 This is the largest commercial vegetable growers’ event in the region with a high quality educational program put together by extension specialists and agents at NC State University. Pesticide credits will be offered. There will also be a trade show and a 50/50 raffle that supports student scholarships.
The program will include presentations on Pumpkin Production, Grafting of Vegetables, Pest Management Plan for Tomatoes, Rescue Food, TRACTOR Wholesale Market, Storage Treatments for Butternut Squash, Packinghouse Sanitation, NC Clean Energy Program, Plastic Mulch Retrieval, Managing Cole Crop Insects, Thrip Control in Tomato and Pepper, High Tunnel Production, Bacterial Disease Control, Whitefly Management, Nematode Management, and an Interactive Pest Management Survey.
On Tuesday, 2/20 there is also a Produce Safety Training (8-5) and Wednesday at 5 p.m. there is a Fumigation Workshop with NCDA – Registration for these events are separate
