The EPA Approves Monsanto's New RNA Interference Genetic-Engineering Technology in Corn

RNA interference is a promising technology that involves using RNA to interfere or inhibit gene expression by neutralizing targeted messenger RNA. The EPA approved a Monsanto RNA interference product aimed at western corn root worm. The corn makes an RNA that disrupts a critical root worm gene.
