The purpose of the NCSU Extension Ag BioTech portal is to provide information concerning biotechnology in agriculture. The scientists responsible for this page are not employed by industry and are solely interested in sharing information and news concerning biotech in agriculture, helping the public understand biotechnology and clearing up public misunderstandings about the various biotechnologies used in agriculture.
